People keep banging on about that run in like it was somehow a vindication of Martin's processes instead of the final damning proof that they didn't work.

We changed from what he was trying to do and played a way that people had been begging for for months and we immediately looked like a better side.

It's only the odd fanatic on here. The majority of sane people have seen straight through him. That includes every club he's graced with his managerial brilliance.

I think that's why, despite serious competition, he's a contender for worst Swansea manager of my lifetime.

All along he knew how to get the team playing better. He just refused to out of sheer arrogance and a need to prove himself right.

It worked out overall as a pretty average season overall, but we actually started and ended really well and had a completely shite run in the middle of it (no idea how he avoided getting sacked after we'd taken 16 points from 21 games in mid-March).

I’ll tell you one thing…I don’t get to as many games as I used to ( every home and many away) due to my hectic schedule, commuting back and forth to Rio isn’t as glamorous as it sounds, but one thing I never did was threaten to never go back to Vetch or the Liberty as a result of a managerial appointment or a group of players.

I think it would help, you need a certain level of quality to play the way he does. Having said that, some argue that he still underperformed with Southampton and their squad was worth much more than anything we’d be able to offer even now. I haven’t taken a look back at that Southampton squad but I do remember that season being particularly competitive at the top. 21 games unbeaten is a decent achievement in any league to be fair to him.

The last 10 games or so of his second season we were much better and it’s arguably the best we’ve played over that amount of games since being relegated.

I still wouldn’t reappoint him, I think it’s too risky given where we are and I don’t think we suit his style at the moment.

I'll tell you one thing...I do get to as many games as I used to (every home and a few away) due to my not very hectic schedule, commuting back and forth 1 mile in Llanelli is as glamorous as it sounds (not very) and 1 thing I've never done is threaten to never go back to Vetch field or the Swansea.com as a result of a managerial appointment or a group of players.
However, if they bring back a manager that was so poor the first time around I nearly died of boredom, they have got fuck all chance of me throwing money at them for that pile of shite again.
