Cravatt and Cohen update

I think it would be ok if we sent back Benson, let Santos move on, loaned out Wales and replaced with a RB even on loan.....that would be ok.
Agree with Benson and Wales.

Not sure there’s any benefit in letting Santos go. We’re 1 injury away from him being the only centre half cover. Would seem a big gamble to go with just Cabango, Burgess & Casey for the rest of the season - especially with Lissah out on loan.

We could bring Lissah back if Santos goes?
I was against Lissah being the 4th choice in the summer, I thing I got that wrong....maybe his loan spell has convinced me that he gets that 4th spot.

Think I’d prefer him getting the full season on loan and then see where he’s at in the summer - could he be 3rd choice?

Wouldn’t be against looking at Casey on a permanent then as well mind - depends what happens with West Ham I guess

I don’t mind a statement like that to be honest. At least they’re letting us know that January will be quiet. No false promises, no disappointment. Also quiet doesn’t mean no signings, I see no reason why we can’t get a loan in or two.

If we got a fee albeit small, (≈200k) for Santos it's worth selling him. The signing never convinced me in the 1st place and his one appearance partnered with his injury record has done nothing to tell me he's worth even keeping around.

If someone is always injured and isn't very good can they even be classed as cover in the first place? 3 Cbs should be enough to see us through till the end of the season.

I agree re Wales and Parker it's important we get them a loan they need game time.

Ahh wonderful, an ex fraud convict is now involved with the club
I bet you can’t describe what it was she was convicted of…

Some time ago, well before she (or Snoop) was connected with the Swans, I watched the (exceptionally interesting) documentary abou5 her and her conviction. On Netflix I think it was.

Anyway, the ‘fraud’ she committed was all about whether she had deliberately acted on inside information to dump shares prior to adverse knowledge about the company becoming public. She benefited by something in the region of $50k. To put that in context, she was America’s first female self made billionaire (just prior to Oprah).

The whole case was ridiculous. Technically she did wrong (or at least her advisors did). But they went after her because of who she was. Worse is done thousands of times every day and no action is taken. Certainly not a prison sentence.

Anyway, I’d urge those uncomfortable with this to watch the documentary . She comes across as a very impressive woman. These things make little difference to the club, no money comes in (it hasn’t done with any of these investments) - it’s all shares in Swansea Football LLC the US holding company, but it’s a bit of publicity and helps potentially with the commercial side for the future.

I’ve already posted about her but just as a point, the EFL will have had no say in approving or
My main point was that there no point digging in her past, but do you mean that the EFL just approve club owners without a background check?

No. The EFL only need to approve or otherwise those with a ‘significant or controlling’ interest in the club. Usually 10% of the club or above.

She will be way below that level.
