We didn't win pretty. But for me that's a good sign. Not always gonna play attractive football. We had moments. Maybe having been on the road so much over last few days and the magnitude of the game. Who knows. Let's get home, rest and take it to West Brom.

In terms of building a midfield for the next year or two, I think Stamenic and Widdell should be two of the midfield 3 going forwards; I think I've seen enough to make that judgement - possibly premature on Widdell, but he's the 'type' of player we need in there, so let's run with it. That 3rd spot is up for grabs and needs to be a 'footballer'. Most will say Galbraith, but I have to say I like him at RB...

The quality is still missing at vital moments but we controlled that second half and it really should have been 0-2. No complaints.

Would like us to score a few more though, we’ve not scored 3 in a league game this season.

I’m expecting footage of him running down the M4 back to Swansea
I was highly impressed by his energy tonight. When he was involved in an attack in their box which broke down, he sprinted after their player who had 15 yards start on him and was pelting down the right wing. Widdell caught up with him half way into our half and forced the ball into touch. Outstanding.

His energy tonight was hugely impressive
Our man of the match for me

Fuck me😂😂😂 have a day off you utter bellend
WTF is your problem now you weirdo? 😂😂😂. Moan, moan, moan, thats all you do. Way to invested in other people’s thoughts. Should have learned your lesson by now you embarrassing tool. We won, most people are happy but you’re still picking internet fights. 😂

And need to stop dropping off and sitting deep when we’re on top.
Yep.

I was disappointed with the subs to be honest. I really think we should have been braver. It paid off, but Oxford were so poor we really should have driven at them. I’d have taken Fulton off for Yalcouye at half time (I think he’s more forward looking than Franco).

T9 be honest, I’d even have been tempted to play Wales alongside Vipotnik for at least some of the second half. Even when a team is utter crap, as Oxford are, a decent set piece and we’ve lost points. They came close with that free kick.

Good stuff.
Norwich are not digging themselves out as expected and Charlton are dropping like a stone.
We'll be OK.
Oh yeah, we’re fine now. 12 points from 6 games in December has transformed our season. I doubt we’ll keep this up but we are showing enough for relegation to not be a worry any more.

I see Galbraith going back into midfield as soon as we sign a RB. Which by all accounts is the clubs main priority for January transfer window. We know we won't be going out and getting alot of signings, but if this is the only one we make let's actually get a quality one in.

Now in 6th place in the form table with 9 from 5. If we kept this up til the end of the season we’d be on 69 points. Which was play-off standard last season.

To be clear, I am not saying that we are play-off quality (not now, at any rate). But the turn-around under Matos has been impressive and I don’t think it’s as fragile as some new manager bounce-backs we’ve seen.
