• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

They seem to have a bad game every 3 or 4, but I think it’s highly unlikely we’re not on the end of a 2-0 or 3-0 score. I think we’ll match them in actual playing football, but we’ll do our usual and not take chances, while helping them score a couple.

Unlikely or not, I’m going for us 2-1.

It'll be like Rorke's Drift up there I fear. Our only hope is that Burgess spends the game in the Mission Hospital, like Hookie in Zulu.

0-3 and back to our customary 16th position by Saturday evening.

I hope I'm wrong.
Yes we need to hope he doesn’t score another brace for them this time. It was bad enough as it was without him scoring for them. Let’s hope we can be inspired by the singing of this as we go into battle. And no Cardiff don’t own the song.

I have a funny feeling about this match. I think we will get something out of it if he picks the players in form.
I need some of that positivity 👍👍😉. Think this game is one to many and it's gonna be a high score for them. Again, let's hope I'm wrong.

I can’t remember the last time we went away to a promotion chaser and came away with anything. We’re capable of winning if we are ultra clinical and don’t miss sitters like we did at Coventry and Hull, but ultimately I’m not convinced that we are tight enough at the back……yet.

Leeds last season? Nothing off the top of my head this year.

Our away form has generally been really bad this season, but particularly against the top sides. Our away record is 0 wins, 1 draw + 8 defeats against the top 11 (with Ipswich & Wrexham still to play). Only three goals scored in that lot and the draw was at Southampton where we got absolutely battered for 90 minutes.

Last season a different story though, we managed to win away at three of the playoff teams - Sunderland, Coventry & Bristol City, as well as getting a draw at Leeds.
