We did that for a bit under Sheehan and everyone booted off about it. For the record I think it would work well with Tymon and key being well suited to those roles. But I would not enjoy the constant complaining on here if we went that route.

It didn't matter what formation we played under Sheehan we were hopeless in all honesty.

I don't think we have the CBs to play a 3 at the back this season which is why I think it's best to probably wait for the summer.

Williams and Martin being in this conversation is incredible harsh regardless of what you think of their character.

Sheehan encapsulates everything that a Swansea manager shouldn't be. He's a boring awkward character, statistically he had us on level with Sheffiled Wednesday (probably the worst team the championship has ever seen) and his ethos which he learned from Natahn Jones is the polar opposite of what us fans want. That O'Dea lad he brought with him aswell just summarize him up.

I imagine Sheehan will be back on Jones doorstep begging for his assistant job back by the summer.

Sheehan is a manager who wanted Vip out of the door at whatever cost and point blank refused to use Widell.

Compared to Russ who gave us multiple saleable assets (Downes, Piroe, Wood, Obafemi) at a time where we had little to no investment from above. Not to mention he had us as the 4th highest scorers in the league and finished 3 points off playoffs. Not to mention the double double.

Williams had us 3 points off playoffs before his West Brom implosion. He was doing a great job up untill that point and yes I accept thaf he messed that one up himself and he was rightfully sacked after that.

Sheehan had us fighting relegation after spending 15mill. He was a weed in the club which we have now thankfully removed.
