Front page news and double spread (along with paramedic reporting) in today’s SWEP about Welsh G.P services being in a “Critical” and “Crisis” state with those still in the profession being “beleaguered”.

Monmouthshire G.P and chair of the Royal College Of General Practitioners Cymru Wales has expressed concerns about the fact that Wales is losing “absolutely fantastic people”, whom are leaving Wales to work elsewhere.

And to think some want a (proven beyond all reasonable doubt!) ruinous left-wing collective in Cardiff Bay to have more power. It would be like taking a sharp pair of scissors away from a delinquent child and handing the kid a loaded shotgun instead.

GP services are critical because GPs seem to view seeing and treating actual patients as optional these days. See also - pharmacists.

Not to bad at my Surgery, got some decent doc's there as well, my favourite is Dr Mahmood he took me off those blood pressure and Cholesterol tablets I was on 👊
Glad you had a positive experience, sadly other G.P surgeries are in a far desperate situation.

It's a worrying state of affairs e.g. if someone thinks they are having a heart attack a person has to take a gamble on what's best to do? Phone an ambulance, or get that person into a car to be driven by someone else a.s.a.p, because an ambulance arrival can be hours away.

And what if a person has fallen? It is advisable in many cases not to put that person into a car anyhow, because of (A) Could make matters far worse and (B) It's physicaly impossible to get some people into a car anyhow i.e. try lifting a floppy dead weight 17 stone individual off the floor and into the confined space when unconscious.

That is why NHS ambulances are spacious, and have ramps and have kit like this ( exact Welsh NHS standard issue) that meets emergency requirements.

My GP is pretty good, never struggle for an appointment on the odd occasion I need one.

Yeah no problems with ours either to be fair they know the family well, due to my youngest and the massive amount of meds he needs, they're on first name terms with my Mrs :ROFLMAO:

Same, nothing wrong with ours either.

Who’d have thought that you can’t believe everything you read. The old sniff test will always be the best.
I can see a pattern developing 🤔

Her in doors goes to a different surgery and she never has an issue when booking appointments.

She's the same with the dentist. I started to get suspicious for a while.
