There does seem to be a reluctance to play Walta from Matos. You would think that when we went 3-1 down, it would have been the ideal time to bring him on?
I'd be tempted to say with such a short turn around from now til Mon if Leo doesn't feature against Boro I doubt we will see him in a Swans kit again.

I think I read Walta and Burgess did the most travel this international window. I might be wrong. Personally I would be picking him over Yalcouye. I like Yalcouye, and there is something there, vut he is a loan player and gets caught out to much.
Unless there’s some financial penalty with Brighton for not playing Yalcouye - doubtful based on the how little he’s played in the rest of this season - then I agree.

Feel like I’m repeating myself after every game but I don’t understand why Walta’s not getting any game time (unless there’s an option to not buy and we’ve decided we’re not going to?)

There will be changes for Monday hopefully we'll see Walta but probably from the bench I think he was bought (loaned for now) with next season in mind

The stats are the stats. Not really about opinions, albeit it’s up to you how much notice you take of them as it’s fair to say that only the result matters in reality.

Think we’ll agree to disagree on the eye test part. I thought we were better for most of the opening 25 mins and definitely dominated the last 20.
Again respectfully I fail to see the better or the dominance

Oh and Myboylollipop…I’ve probably seen more away games than you’ve had Farleys Rusks.
* Farley's

apostrophes ain't ewer thing are they - a proper calling card, ya weirdo pretender lying misfit, exiled abroad (gilt/guilt misstep is another prescient classic calling card)

I think get him up to speed with the championship and he will be a good player for us. The club mutt see that as they was reported in wanting him for a while. Wasn't Walta coming off a pre season when he arrived? Just see how Widell has done well after getting used to things.

Swedish league finished in November so wasn’t expecting him to play 90 mins straight away, but he’s been with us for 2 months now so just surprised at how little he’s played since that one start at home when he came off at half time.

Let’s see what happens over the next 6 games…

'stats should be used at the end of a conversation, not the beginning', apparently

and......our stats were massive, and the eye test was massiver - away to big bucks Blades

we are head 'n shoulders above our wildest dreams right now - and massively exciting times beckon.....

this site will weed out the wheat from the chaff, the perennial Miz types will slunk off, and all will be rosy, again - tis the SwanseaWay

Going to pay a bit of interest if Walta starts Monday.
Has a chance given Galbraith is likely out for the rest of the season(BBC).

Pleased for the away Jacks today especially travelling on a bank holiday.

Not sure why we don't play like we did in the last 30 mins for the first hour !?.. this slow tempo passing sideways under the press is doing us no favours. Shipping 6 goals in 2 games all preventable with some organisation and leadership.

Widell is coming good, Eom looked decent when he came on so did Idah.

Time to consider not playing players who won't be here next season.

Very impressive fight back and refusal to give in, with a massive contribution from Idah.
Can we tweak the formation somehow to accommodate Vip AND Idah?
Even before HT I was wondering if we could bring Idah on for Ronald. I know Idah isn't a winger but by my definition, neither is Ronald.
