Yes we have more points at this stage of the season than in the previous 3, and we barely had a squad to work with going into the summer.

Can only imagine that we have appointed a director of football (or are extremely close to it) and the role / responsibilities / final say that they wanted and the role / responsibilities / final say that Dimi wanted were incompatible.

I imagine the club would have been happy for him to stay within a new structure and he wasn’t happy to do so. Hence the quick parting of the ways.

Will be interesting to see who we appoint. I can’t imagine it’s Mangan though as his background is really not right for that sort of role. It must be someone that the club really wants as otherwise they wouldn’t have shaken up the recruitment side of it.

Something has obviously happened given the faith the owners had in him and seemed to be well thought off.
In football you need to be as squeaky clean as possible. I always thought that his history on forums was never a good thing especially given his approach on them.

Whatever happens, we need to make a good appointment and Dimi gets something elsewhere and good luck to him.
