    I think it felt worse than it actually was at times because we missed a few chances that we really should have put away. With a striker, we win that 3-0. The general play improved as the game went on I thought but as you say, more work to do. The side still needs to gel.

    When he was asked about outgoings the other day, Sheehan basically said that we’ve already lost a lot of players. Doesn’t sound like we’re going to lose anyone. Although I’d like to see some of the younger players get loans.

    Stamenic, from what I’ve seen is the type of 6 profile we don’t have at the moment. Tall, combative but can play the ball just as well as any of our other midfielders. Think he completes the midfield if he comes in. Would allow us to play Galbraith in a more advanced role and maybe even utilise...

    From what I saw of SU against Bristol, they seemed okay going forward. It was just defensively they were off it. If we can stay solid, there’ll be chances for us at the other end

    Assuming we get Yalcouye done tomorrow, he could very well be involved against Sheffield United. May even start if he’s that good.

    It seemed we deliberately set up to play longer in the first half and then pivoted to playing out more in the second. If that game proved anything, Galbraith should have played at the base of midfield against Boro.

    Swansea Closing in on Brighton Midfield Dynamo Malick Yalcouye

    This would probably be the best outfield loan from the Premier League since the Cooper days, if we’re going off the hype anyway. Lots of our loans have been ‘high potential’ but Yalcouye seems to be a little bit further down the line than that. Hoping he can make a big impact if it goes through.
