Yes, but interest has ramped up on him considerably in the last week or two. Sheff Utd and Stoke are supposed to be sniffing. We'll likely be outbid.

Not so much outbid as I think it'll be the £1m release fee, but certainly teams with more lucrative wages on offer, or teams that are more likely to be challenging for top spots. On top of that rumours today that Arsenal are looking at Luke Steele from Brighton so Rushworth may well be retained even if he's used as a back up.

If Rushworth was available, I'd take him in an instant, but I can't imagine Vigouroux would be very happy getting splinters in his arse all through the season.
