Kit release?

You don't think that we're going to be a big feature in Wrexham's upcoming season? The first significant Welsh team that they've played in their rise up the leagues? Apparently important enough to them to earn the "Darth" tag in their fixture announcements?

A bit of playful back and fore with them certainly won't hurt our profile.
Comparing themselves to the next Leeds of the Championship now mind 🤔

Not saying that they aren't going to be full of themselves, but if we're going to be playing a role we might as well try to get what we can out of it.

It wouldn't surprise me if Snoopy came on board as a minor investor either. There have been consistent rumours of other high profile individuals getting involved.

I think it is very funny myself, although I wish they kept the post to the picure and just wrote "Dogg included", tagging people directly comes off as desparate.

I can honestly say I haven’t given Wrexham a second thought. Apart from wondering whether they’ll sign O’Brien. I don’t even know when we’re playing them.
I used to look for when we play Cardiff but Wrexham aren’t rivals for me. Same as Newport.

Maybe I’m alone.

Millions of others will be doing differently.

Really?

You don’t think tagging Ryan Reynolds in is bloody desperate?

Thank God Mumbles rangers don’t have a famous owner. We may then try to force a non existent rivalry with them to try to get some clicks.

And choose someone who hasn’t recently been seen in a Cardiff shirt perhaps.
Depends how you look at it, if it brings eyes on the club from it then it will be seen as worth it.

He may well do. He’s involved in a whole load of stuff.

That would make using him more reasonable. It’s the tagging Wrexham stuff I find desperate.

In normal da6 to day stuff it’s one thing but this is the first view of the new kit isn’t it? Didn’t see them tagging us.

People need to start differentiating between being recognised and it earning the club money. Because unless it’s sales in the tens of thousands, selling shirts in the US isn’t actually as important as getting local kids involved with the club. They will be supporters for the long term.

If we think Snoop Doggy Dog v Ryan Reynolds is a fair fight in the battle for mainstream media attention in 2025 whoever thinks that is sorely mistaken. It’s not a fair fight.
I don't think they are looking for a battle, I think they are just looking to play off him to generate their interest.
We are just looking for our slice of the cake, enough to make us competitive......anything else is just a bonus.

It might not be perfect or on top of the Hollywood sign but this new board have done more to try and create something than the previous idiots did in their 8yrs.

We will have to see if they have anything planned on that front. That might be a discussion to have but that will be very much into the depths of this coming season.
