There is no winnable option for him. If he had stuck by his guns last month on the welfare cuts, maybe he could perhaps appease the 130 labour mps calling for him to act, but he didn't and there's no way now he can let them rule the roost again
It's either goodbye party leadership or goodbye special relationship, which if im honest I think is not long for this modern world anyway
