The intensity really has been impressive
If they can keep that up against a side that can keep the ball under pressure remains to be seen though

Watch the replay of the scuffle after the penalty, a Brum fan tried to get in there and got shoved on his arse, the prick.

An awful game.

The main thing I took from it is a reminder of how dreadful EFL refs sometimes are. And how they can determine outcomes. That ref has no control of the game at any point and then gave a scandalous penalty at the end. Reminded me of us at Burnley last season. Really poor decision to give him an opening game of that magnitude. Clearly wasn't up to it.

If I was a Brum fan I would be livid with the refereeing in this game
Denied a perfectly good goal by an extremely generous free kick
Then Ipswich given a stoppage time penalty which again was insanely generous by any standards

Birmingham looked like thugs. Horrible team. LOL at the result.
Absolutely - and as well as the thuggery there was incessant whingeing and complaining when even the slightest decision went against them.

Let’s hope Snoop City perform better than our American rivals did last night.

I saw about half the match in bits and pieces. I thought Brum were overly physical and not controlled at all by a very weak ref, while Ipswich were good at possession for possession's sake, but with no bite, a bit like watching Russball.
Early days, but I wasn't really impressed by either team, although we might struggle against Brum's muscle.
As an aside, in all my years of watching the Swans home and away, I always rated Brum as the most hostile and unpleasant ground to visit (Millwall included), and it looks like not a lot has changed!
