Like plenty of others on here today, I had really frequent buffering today. I'm not technical enough to know why this happens or whether the clubs response above is a correct explanation or not. However, trying to be logical, it can't be the case that so many of us have a poor connection or an outdated browser or a clogged up cache.

Isn't there anyone here who is sufficiently skilled in this subject who can respond to the clubs explanation? Appreciate most of us are only technically "abroad" and so shouldn't really be accessing the stream in the way we do, but clearly Swans TV knows what goes on and so to take good money off us and deliver a poor service is not on.

I have been supportive of the service to date and said so on here, but today was simply not good enough. As others have pointed out, if the club is looking to expand its supporter base the least they can do is get their TV broadcasting right.
I'm not sure this helps as im not tech savvy but I watched the game from Lanzarote on my phone tru an app that i have downloaded on my tv and phone ( you all know the type ) now the wifi in the hotel is piss poor dropping out every 5 mins or so BUT my stream was perfect and didn't stop until 3 mins into injury time at the end of the game, so ive no idea what the answer is.

You're right, they were poor today and we deservedly won the game. Your carping about them before the game smacked of getting ready to pile on Sheehan again if we didn't win.
Not at all, will always call the game as it is. I don't dislike Sheehan, but i do dislike going into games thinking the opposition are far better and setting up for a draw as we did last week. There are a lot of bang average teams in this division ,with big reputations, but if you get after a lot of them, as we did today, they are certainly no better than we are.

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon out, there’s something very nice about watching football in shorts and t-shirt. The recent recruitment looks light years apart from what we have seen under the Watson era, and we’re neither complete or fully jelled. Galbraith is going to be class for us and Widell gives an energy beyond what we’ve had recently. Time to fire up the BBQ and enjoy the late afternoon sun.
Galbraith will be a star. He oozes quality.

Like I say, I'm no techie. However, if you are right, how come I can stream BBC iPlayer, YouTube and Netflix till the cows come home and I never have a buffering issue?
It’s almost certainly not due to RAM.

It’s likely that the service the club uses provides a similar service to many other clubs and their servers were overcapacity. New season excitement and all.

What part of Lanzarote are you in?

Two goals in two games for Ronald, he had a good number of assists last season lets hope that this season he takes a step forward in terms of his goal threat. Some could argue that he should have been on 4 goals so far based on his chances today and last Tuesday, but I will take 2 goals in 3 appearances for a winger.

Just read a Sheff Utd forum game thread.

The common consensus throughout was the only thing worse than the fact that their players played bad, was the opposition were absolute rubbish (us).

We were only playing Swansea, who were rubbish, think what will happen when we play a good team!

Had a similar problem with a fire stick. IPlayer, Netflix are designed to use small amount of bandwidth so work off next to nothing. If you’re too far from your router or the WiFi channels are the same as your neighbours then it can mean you’re not getting the signal it needs.

I think both sets of fans expected more from them. After all, they’ve still got considerable parachute payments to aid their squad depth.

Maybe a bit harsh on 6 for Cullen, although I agree the point about him not being a long term option for lone striker.

BBC also rated him awfully
Hilariously Fulton was rated lower than Wales and Wales was only the pitch for 30 seconds and didn't get to touch the ball
