• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

In fairness at least some of the Norwich players did have the balls to face up to their fans who were furious. Darling pretty much just sulked off down the tunnel at the final whistle.
It's just the way they stand there looking all weak and pathetic, tapping their hands. Get down the tunnel and be better in the next game.

Thank heavens Vip had his shooting boots on today. I know Stamenic can play but he doesn't half slow the game down at times

They were pretty ungracious in victory last season at Carrow Road so I have zero sympathy. Not that we didn’t have a hammering from them, but for a while we tried hard and even looked like getting something when Cullen scored, but they were still pretty petty. Can’t say for sure that yesterday’s travelling fans were precisely the ones who were mean to us in the last away game of course…

I said to my mate yesterday does look weird them just standing there, but at that point its a no win situation. If they went down the tunnel straight away they'd be slaughtered too.

I remember the Grant Holt days

It would help if they put more effort in rather than make it obvious what it is, tick box exercise.

Lose a game, steal a living, show the supporters I pretend to care.

Never understood why players stand there patheticaly tapping their hands together looking all sorry for themselves at the end of the game. We all know most of them would be off to the highest bidder if they go relegated.
I agree, why on earth do footballers need to applaud the crowd !!

Espically away games, is the applause for getting on a bus or driving in your car and paying to watch a game of football. I find it all very condecending, I pay to watch a game of football (and hopefully see my team win) just get on with.

But they shouldn't be slaughted for just returning to the changing room, that's just entitled fans thinking that the players should come and thank them for watching a game of football.

I may start building a Top Ten of bollox things in football

1. XG
2. Players clapping fans after a every game

Please feel free to add your own pet hates

Often it just makes the situation worse
