Now for me I was disappointed in Idah
Putting himself about is all well and good, but we saw in 10 minutes from Vipotnik what we didnt in 80 from Idah, a goal threat and thats ultimately what he needs to do as a striker

That’s a fair point, I thought that we didn’t really play much to Idah’s strengths when he was on. No counters or balls behind the line. Ironically, when their goal keeper made a mistake and the ball went loose for someone to run onto behind the line, it was just after Idah had been taken off. I think he would have made more out of that with his pace. We have to try and get Vip and Idah on the pitch at the same time for me, maybe Idah on the wing and Vip down the middle.

I agree we do need to be attacking, we need players to drive into space when appropriate. Its frustrating to see from the sidelines when it's clear there are chances there, I get it. It's weird, the second half tonight, we looked much better,when going for it albeit we didnt create much in the way of chances, if that makes sense. I think it's a confidence issue, or at worse it's how they are being coached, maybe Sheehan is lacking in confidence and playing it too safe. For now I'll stick with my opinion that well come good. I hope it's not going tits up behind the scenes.

We started off shockingly and the goal was deserved by QPR....I just don't see the plan and it's not as bad as Duffs reign but it has similarities.

I don't see this group of players adjusting to how he wants to play and I can't see the majority of fans accepting it IF it continues.

And also, whilst their at it.....get a proper football person in as DOF. The board have put enough of their money in and need to get someone in who actually has proper experience on the football side of things aswell as a Manager who plays attacking footballer.

Up until the last 10mins, I was bored shirtless with the first 20mins nearly sending me to sleep, I went past frustrated because it's what I expected the team to be sent out and play.

O’Brien was a bigger part of last season than we realised I think. Him and Franco with Joe Allen in behind had balance and enough energy to work. I just don’t see that system working with the current players. That’s not to call them bad, I think it’s more a case of them needing to play in a different system.

I’d go with Galbraith and Stamenic holding and Widell in the 10.

Bet Sheehan is wishing the club pushed harder to get the LOB deal done. I certainly am.

Not saying that putting LOB into this team would magically change everything, but we miss that driving presence in the middle of the park. Stamenic, LOB and a No 10. *sigh*

Based on that I'm not panicking yet, all this drama queenery is a bit OTT. We'll be fine, we've some more than decent players, were not a million miles away from being a decent outfit.

There's also a sense for me that if we make the right change early, there's nothing in this league this season. I reckon we'd still have half a chance of mounting some sort of challenge

Given the money we spent and the players we brought in, it's starting to look like we got another transfer window wrong.

Vipotnik done more Infront of goal in 10 minutes than the whole team did in the previous 80mins.

Key looked so much better coming on when he was pushing onto the front foot.
Sheehan needs to go with a 10 and start the match on the front foot.

It's a bloody mess at the moment.

I tend to agree, but you cant, play with that intensity for 90 minutes, but you make a fair point which is quite clear. Dont bin us off just yet.
