Reading through the thread it’s a very different story to my experience of being at the game. The first 10 to 15 minutes I thought we were superb, but again not putting the ball in the back of the net. Stoke being Stoke got themselves back into it with the usual Stoke tactics, bully our boys , lump it forward and fouling in turns. The referee made some poor decisions, to say the least. It’s not as easy to play against 10 men as some on here seem to think. I really enjoyed the game, a little edge of seat on times but we thoroughly deserved the win and three points. Yes, it would be great to totally dominate every team we play against but we are mid table in the Championship for a reason. From where we were under the last few previous managers I’m happy how things are shaping up. Some good performances today by us and a special mention to Josh Key for a timely return to his previous form. Two great goals too.

Guy sat behind me moaned all game....Maybe I have a lower bar of expectatiin having watched us since 1975...yes I get frustrated with us at times but sometimes wonder if I am watching the same game as others.
Also sometimes the expectations and criticisms of players such as Ronald when will folks realuse if he was the complete article he wouldnt be here.....we have a history of recruiting nearlymen and makimg them special it doesnt always work. But Ronald offers a lot extra in defence and was there today to help Key bed back in.

The club should be happy though as it wont need to look far for a manager whem Matos is poached as there are plenty of candidates on here and the Indy

One of the silver linings from performances like last Saturday at Ipswich is they must reduce the risk of Matos being poached in the short term. Let’s face it, we are not ready for the play-offs, so I can cope with mid-table mediocrity if it means we keep our manager for a bit longer.

It's weird isn't it?
Recently the crowd in the stadium is much more appreciative of the team's efforts than those who post on the match day thread during the game.
Maybe the experience is so different that it leads to a completely different perspective on what's unfolding before us?
After all, we all want the same thing. Maybe it's just as well that it's not the other way around.
