• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The results couldn’t have gone any worse for Leicester. Four points off of Portsmouth who also have a game in hand, they could find themselves 5 points from safety

That was a pretty comprehensive away performance.

Weathered a storm in the first half but never let them create any real chances - and for once we were clinical with our chances and managed the last quarter of the game really well.

What is with the Ward hatred?! He’s in the twighlight of his career, doing a bit part job for us as an extra body to fill the gap at full back. Monga didn’t get a kick when he came on, and leicester barely had a sniff. Therefore job done by Ward.
Agreed.

Ward was not spectacular but he did a job. Leicester didn’t score so could argue it was a job well done.

Pompey’s game in hand is Ipswich.

It’s incredible that yet again we beat a team that was below us. Still only Watford and Wrexham from those above. I guess the smart money is we lose to Delias, QPHa and Soton and beat Charlton, but I fancy us to win two and draw one of those.

The Coventry anomaly aside we have been very very good at home. I fancy us to turn over the saints

Great to beat them away from home. Amazing how they’ve deteriorated since we played them at home. They were absolutely awful.

A great performance from Parker again. And brilliant from Eom and Vipotnik. And Vigs made a couple of crucial saves.

Very scrappy other than that.

I’m still uncertain what we are aiming for other than running around a lot and pressing the opponents. We’ll find out more next year I guess.

I think we need a few players in order to turn us into anything other than mid table. That will mean we have to sell. So it will be another summer of overhaul.

We have to find some creativity from somewhere though. At the moment, our most creative player is Eom. Who probably should be in the middle.

Indeed. The abuse of some of our players on the match day threads is appalling.

He was just what we needed. A calm experienced head when the game needed seeing out.
