    Colours Nailed and all that

Id say general performance levels are the determining factor and both have failed on that front.

I know you somehow spin Idahs meagre championship scoring record over many years into a positive but if the club werent regretting signing him and Innoussa by now, the individuals involved need sacking.

I absolutely agree with most of what you've said here. We are and Matos are being found lacking now we've had a run of difficult games. However, this is entirely natural, this is learning / transition and these are by their very nature tough games. But this cannot continue into next season...

We've sold more tickets for this football match because an American rapper is at the stadium than when we played Valencia in European competition. People are fucking mad (and I quite like rap music).

I am excited to see what Matos can do with input into a summer transfer window and a pre-season

Hell of a result, scrappy game but a battling performance. Lots of decent performances. Yalcouye has to cut out the stupidity in crucial positions. Gifting them a corner in the 93rd minute could have really cost us. He'd played well up until then. We'd definitely have lost that under Sheehan.

Millwall absolutely battered us, but on the whole our performances have been very good

    New Deal For Jay Fulton

Never been his biggest fan but he has improved vastly under Matos. Good decision to extend so we can concentrate on other squad areas (as long as his wages have reduced).

The January 2026 Transfer Window Thread - Now Closed!

I dont think it's relevant - infrastructure isnt included in PSR so if the club bought it, there would be no difference would there? Yes no annual lease fee, but I believe we run the stadium lock stock since we came to that agreement (and paid an initial lump sum i think?) with the council so...

I dont see what difference that would make? Why would sponsorship increase based on who owns the stadium? We have the ability to do whatever commercial deals we want now as far as i'm aware? PSR isn't a consideration because infrastructure costs aren't included.

The January 2026 Transfer Window Thread - Now Closed!

Why would the stadium purchase necessarily be a good thing? Aren't we just currently paying a peppercorn rent to the council but take all the profits (or losses) from all events at the ground? Buying would make expansion easier but is that a realistic consideration at the moment?
