Oh yes, very much normal behaviour. Also the amount of people who now drive around at night with no lights on - I miss the old days when your dashboard only lit up when you turned on your lights. Most people have no idea they are doing it - then again that's not just Surrey.

Worse behaviour in supermarkets is when people pick up chilled or frozen items and then leave it on a non refrigerated shelf. Item then has to be thrown as you can't guarantee freshness anymore and results in higher prices
