• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

This is going to age me. Roy and Wizard played in the Top Rank in the early 70s! I was there but you were no doubt not even thought of! 😀

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Millwall 2 Swansea 1 | Att: 14,242 | 04/01/26 | The EFL Championship | The Den

This interlude until our next cup/league matches couldn't come at a better time. That was gutting to listen to. Even worse to witness no doubt. Really thought we were going to come away with at least a point after a worrying first half.

Things that annoy you more than they should

When you say you are going on holiday and someone inevitably asks "Anywhere nice?". No saved all year/maxed out my card to spend 2 weeks of hell in a sh1t hole.

    What Ewe Watching

Also loving Traitors. Fiona is shown as local government worker. We also said she looked familiar lol. Waiting for Night Manager to pile up so we can binge. We have zero patience when it comes to waiting for next episodes. Loved first series. We did binge Red Eye. Hmmm. It held our attention...

    What Ewe Watching

Good question. Whoever wrote that needs shooting. They call it a series but its a film and I am bloody sure that last sentence in their summary is decidedly dodgy grammar. Anyway, it sounds like a family drama. Not watched it yet. Was mistaken in thinking with that line up it might have been a...

Didn't know that. Gutted Lynne's ill health stopped him having his final performance. Saw ELO a few years ago in their Birmingham gig. They were superb. Been a fan of Mr Lynne since the days of Traveling Wilburys. Now that was one hell of a supergroup.
