    Not sure what Delcroix did to get dropped, but given Darling's refusal to sign a new deal he can consider himself unlucky to be on the bench IMO.

    I was bored out of my skull watching us under Cooper (the advantage of having to watch games on telly is being able to read a book whilst having one eye on the match) but there's no doubt whatsoever that he's miles ahead of Russy and Williams in terms of coaching ability.

    They were both much of a muchness IMO. Quite pally and jovial when things were going well but prickly when challenged (which didn't happen often enough to either of them) and remarkably rapid when it came to trying to deflect blame. Basically the same manager.

    I'm slightly concerned about the references to "Identity". It either suggests that we're looking for another possession merchant or he thinks that's what people want to hear. Passing football is good. Possession football is tedious.

    Barring an utterly catastrophic run of form (which that one win in twelve came close to before being salvaged by the last few games) I suspect Monk was always pretty much nailed on for the job as a reward for services to Jenkins.

    How many people other than the terminally online are even aware of the links between Sheehan and Watson? Always seemed like an excuse to have a go at him for me. Can't imagine most people care one way or another, especially if he takes the side on a decent run.
