Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Derby County 1 Swansea City 2 | The EFL Championship

Excellent win. Thought we were fantastic for the first 20-25mins. Derby didn't know whether to press or stand off, and when they pressed we just played around them and through the lines. So, what on earth happened after that? Especially second half. We went from playing it around at will to...

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 3 Leeds United 4 | The EFL Championship

A word about Josh Key. He's excellent at times but he doesn't half run down blind alleys sometimes and is very prone to losing the ball when he ventures infield. Poor misplaced pass by him that led to their winning goal. I thought having got back to 3-3 we should have shut up shop and taken...

We're getting confused here. The SwansTV commentary (at home games) is AHEAD. Which is really annoying. Behind would be relatively OK - at a push - because at least you're not being told what's going to happen before it happens.

The commentary isn't behind - it's AHEAD! Which is why it seems like AOC is watching and commenting on what's going on on the field, rather than "off-tube". If the video has to go by some circuitous route before it's displayed on his monitor then clearly if he's watching the pitch, his...

    Cooper out for three months

His constant falling over whenever someone challenges him for the ball is embarrassing. He shouldn't be anywhere near our first XI.

    Williams In

We've had better dead ball specialists recently - Hourihane, Brewster? - and Grimes has given way to them, so I can only assume that he's the best we've got at the moment. Which is nuts.

If I'm not mistaken, he also floated a couple of crosses straight into the arms of their keeper.

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Oxford United 1 Swansea City 2 | The EFL Championship

Whilst yesterday was definitely an improvement, I don't think we should get carried away. Oxford had enough chances to win that match. They had 3 very presentable chances in the second half and 2 of those were harder to miss than score.

    Would you trade.....

No. Getting relegated in the hope the owners sell (to someone better, perchance?), so that we can come back stronger is a load of old tosh if you ask me.

If they haven't fixed the audio, his enthusiasm will be ahead of the video.

Whispering AOC was at his soporific best yesterday. Maybe he's losing enthusiasm.

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Sheffield Wednesday 0 Swansea City 0 | EFL Championship

Grimes .... aaarrrgghhhh. If ever there was a game where he should have been subbed it was today. He was proper awful. SW's best chance in the first half, from which they should have scored, was the result of him faffing around and losing possession. The sad thing is, he's never getting...

Thanks for the info. I suppose it's a bit much to expect Sky quality audio from SwansTV. We should, as a minimum, have audio/video/commentary in sync though.

I don't believe he's there in person at away games (but prepared to be wrong). Maybe some local ones perhaps? When he used to have co-comms at away games, like Wyndham, they would often refer to "here" - clearly they were referring to the Swansea.com. Was a bit of a give away.

I agree. Away games have never been an issue for me - and it would support your theory that at home games AOC is watching the play in real time i.e. sitting in the stand looking at the pitch, whereas for away games he's commentating off-tube (I think that's the term). Well done for sticking...

Excellent stuff. Glad you're getting somewhere - maybe. This really needs to be escalated to someone high up in the club, and you may be onto them. Failing that, I wonder if AOC knows - couldn't find him on Twitter. Maybe a message to #JacksAtHome?

Indeed. It's not rocket surgery. Personally, I wouldn't even wait until match day. I'd get all the parts (I was going to say players, but that could be ambiguous) at the stadium including a person sitting in AOC's seat. Get a video and audio feed from the pitch - from the actual suppliers...
