Is Luke Williams time up at Swansea City - will Baggies links be the end?

If he stays and if we then go on a great run, including winning at our dear neighbours in a few weeks time, then all will be forgotten. Obviously we all see the glaring problem, though

Is Luke Williams time up at Swansea City - will Baggies links be the end?

The only thing that has crossed my mind is that he has been told he is a cert for the job if he wants it. Which I can't see myself but you never know. If not, it's the normal person equivalent of upsetting your boss, colleagues and customers after getting a call from a recruitment agent asking...

Is Luke Williams time up at Swansea City - will Baggies links be the end?

I suppose it's one thing fluttering your eyelids at a Championship club when a) they're two leagues above you and b) when you've got your current club promoted back into the Football League. It's quite another to do it after an, at best, average year, to a side a few places above us.

Is Luke Williams time up at Swansea City - will Baggies links be the end?

The fact that we are even discussing whether LW's comments has any impact on Harry Darling is damning enough. He has left himself wide open to criticism.

Is Luke Williams time up at Swansea City - will Baggies links be the end?

Most fans lapped up him calling out the owners and it basically bought him a free pass for the couple of months of crap that followed. I don't know why Williams couldn't have just said he wasn't interested, even if his agent was working away in the background trying to engineer a move.

Is Luke Williams time up at Swansea City - will Baggies links be the end?

One way or another, I think his time is up. His response to these WBA links has been crazy IMO. Naive at best. Not sure what he's thinking. If he doesn't go to WBA, he's toast here. I don't think the majority of fans will accept this, especially with form and performances so patchy. Say what...

Swans spring goalkeeping surprise with short term deal for former Glasgow Rangers keeper

He looks absolutely made for us looking at that clip!

Williams blasts "unacceptable" Swans but the performance has been seen before

None of them ever do. The mismanagement of the club over the last few years has pretty much just been allowed to happen. When Russ was on his 1 win in 20odd run or whatever it was, they were more concerned about him getting a new contract. Something tells me then fans patience is going to run...

Williams blasts "unacceptable" Swans but the performance has been seen before

He's said quite a few times we've been unacceptable. How many times can something be unacceptable without something changing? No shots on target against a league one side is unforgivable

Frustrated Luke looks back on Cardiff City draw

We aren't a strong team. An easily midtable finish would be a decent season imo

People are judging Coleman and the results are plain to see

I think the lack of exciting players hasn't really helped in recent years. Off the top of my head, I can't really think of many 'bums off seats' players between Dan James and Ronald... (I accept I am probably missing someone obvious).

Huge month ahead for Swans - worrying times from the fan perspective

If almost 33 year old Jamie Paterson is where we are putting any of our hopes, we are screwed. One good game a month and a dreadful attitude. Him going was one of the few positives we were going to have this summer.

Huge month ahead for Swans - worrying times from the fan perspective

We were crap last season and based on what has happened so far this summer, we are probably going to be even worse next season. A lot needs to happen in the next month realistically just for us to not be fighting relegation imo.

Let's see what you are made of - your chance to prove talk isn't cheap

We know exactly what they're made of. Let's hope that we manage to stay up without these frauds pulling the wool over anyone's eyes in the process.

    Relegation Fight

They need to flog Allen now. He just needs to stay on the pitch as much as possible. I'd rather play with Joey on one leg than Fulton and Walsh combined.

    Relegation Fight

I think we'll spawn our way to another 3-4 points and that'll just about keep us up. All we can hope for is a good summer but unfortunately I think we've got too much to do. We'll be starting with Fulton and Yates come Christmas again. Next season could be the year we go down.
