Bianchini was only shipped out last week. he would have been fine this season.

Nonsense. I have seen first day matches where I have known with absolute certainty we were going to have a great season irrespective of the result. I know with absolute certainty we need at least two players this week. At least.

You realise we saw him a lot last season as well don’t you? I’m not basing it off thirty minutes I’m basing it off a season and the 33 minutes he had today plus the pre season.

It’s about planning and using money properly. O’Brien cost less upfront than we have spent and less per week than we’ve got rid of this summer. Inoussa looks like a nice player but why strengthen out wide when our quality was better than elsewhere and fail to recognise that the middle of...

I didn’t expect anything from today. But then I watched how bad Boro were. They were absolutely awful. And we didn’t create anything. It’s not the result, it’s the performance. We looked in the second half like a lower league team of lumpers.

The reason it looks like he has no service is because he is absolutely static. While he was on there were two good low crosses from the right. One by Ronald and one by Inoussa. He was absolutely nowhere to be seen for either of them. He doesn’t gamble to the near post and he doesn't gamble to...

O’Brien was the difference last season. I am hugely disappointed we didn’t get the money together to bring him in. Would have been better to sign him rather than Widell and Inoussa imo. You can have quality out wide but it won’t matter at all without a midfield driver. Let’s hope we can bring...

After solid enough first half second half was very, very poor. Vipotnik is simply a waste of time. Cullen in the first half at least showed some ability to win a ball and hold it up. Vipotnik is constantly in the wrong place, has awful movement and can’t be bothered to stay onside. Widell...

For the second half, I would bring on Widell, drop Galbraith further back, take off one of Fulton or Franco (Frnaco isn’t any better than Fulton this half). After a short while, bring in Inoussa, move Eom inside and take the other one of Franco / Fulton off. Later Vip for Cullen.

Decent first half. So much more solid with Cabango back. Burgess looks very solid, less flair than Darling but possibly less prone to an error. Ronald not having a bad game, similarly Eom and Cullen. Galbraith a bit anonymous. Full backs look fine defending and threatening going forward. Some...

    Swansea documentary in the works

Doing community projects was not what I was talking about when I spoke about clubs being an integral part of the communities in which they are based. And cool is an issue for football as cool quickly becomes not as cool as the next thing. These days a new fan in Asia or the States is seen as...

    Swansea documentary in the works

There has already been one version of that giving praise to those who deserved it less than those who were ignored. And that story is the past not the present. The reality is that our story was a special one until we also became just another club with owners from afar. Now we are no different...

    Swansea documentary in the works

‘This rivalry’ between us and Wrexham will only ever exist in the minds of people that wouldn’t be able to point out Swansea on a map. Probably Wales. Together with the breathless ‘Snoop is following x on socials’ posts, this sums up for me everything that we’ve lost - football clubs are...

Yep. Many the slip twixt cup and lip. Plus I haven’t seen this anywhere other than a few random fan sites. Let’s hope it’s true but it’s by no means certain from what I’ve read?

    What Ewe Watching

I only know of him as he was married to Gisele Bundchen before she dumped him for her yoga instructor or similar. (Maybe her personal trainer). They have children together. Anyway, at the risk of sounding shallow, I do like a bit of celebrity gossip…

    What Ewe Watching

I saw the roast of Tom Brady a few months ago for some reason (I wasn’t looking for it but happened to see it). He came across as an absolute arse on that.

Is it wrong that I laughed out loud reading that. Sorry Darr.

    Sir Sadiq Khan

Tell us you don’t know London without telling us you don’t know London. Honestly Darran, most Londoners would consider Barnet more London than Croydon is.

    Sir Sadiq Khan

Barnet is one mile further away from Charing Cross (the marker used for distance to London) than Croydon is. And yet you were happy for that to be used as a proxy for London? Barnet is closer to Oxford Circus than Croydon is. Plus Barnet is on the tube and Croydon is not.
