    Another gutless performance

I’m not sure that’s relevant. We could all see they were a good side. Physically they were stronger and quicker and good footballers. We won’t play many better teams this season. The OP is a joke really. There was also a very negative reaction in the ground at half time which surprised me...

Yes, Galbraith looked more than a good enough backup when he briefly played there. I thought we needed his energy in the middle from the start today. It wasn’t a Cullen game for me.

Tymon did no better against Fatawu. It happens. We know our players are mid-level for this league and they came up against better ones today. Key’s not been great and his partnership is not working with Ronald either, but we hadn’t got many options. Who would come in - Sam Parker’s our only...

Millwall: The Club That Mistook Barking for Bravery

Diplomatically said. Or in short, it’s a load of bollocks. I don’t see the need. Yeah, they were a bit ‘agricultural’, but they also played through us a few times.

    Alan Sheehan.

He’s doing a decent job with what he has imo. When you’ve got players who can’t thread a simple 10 yard pass (Ronald) or blast over from 8 yards out (Ronald again) or not get a shot off (Idah and others) there’s only so much he can do. It’s not great, but it’s better than under Williams and...

    Idah

It’s a long season. At least we have a second striker now and I’m sure we’ll get to see more from him as time goes on.

    Josh Key

Part of the problem is that Ronald gives him nothing to work with. He was able to play forward more often with Benson offering a forward option. That’s only part of the problem though.

I’d agree with that too. Should be using 4 subs a game and giving the new lot a good 25 mins. If the players know they’re going to be replaced they can go flat out for 60-65 mins.

    Cardiff or Wrexham ?

I like Wrexham. The town’s a sh*thole, but the people are genuine (much like Swansea). My Welsh teacher back then was a massive Wrexham fan and hated Cardiff with a passion. I used to live just outside the town and watched them regularly. They weren’t great, but it was my football fix. It was...

    Russell Martin

The bloke’s a fraud. (This thread’s been going on for a while, so I may have said that before. Apologies if it’s a ferdie.)

From Liberty to Injustice; the solution to the Championship’s referee woes?

Absolutely this. It gets the black and white decisions right, like offsides (mostly). But where the Laws of the Game are open to subjectivity, which is often, it makes little difference other than giving another opportunity to correct obvious errors. Plenty of errors are still made even with VAR.

From Liberty to Injustice; the solution to the Championship’s referee woes?

I agree that we need it, but also dread it being implemented because it sucks the joy out of the game. Were between a rock and a hard place on this.

    Adam Idah 40k a week.

Nah, I can’t see it. Or I certainly hope we haven’t.

Pregnant women should not take Paracetamol! #Trump

The best cure for pregnancy is thinking of Donald Trump. What a twot. The trouble is, some people over here will believe this rubbish. Farage today coming out and, in his cowardly way, suggesting Trump may have a point. Just fcuk right off you grifting arsehole.

    BLAZE RIP

Beautiful. I’m so sorry for your pain and the hole left by BLAZE’s passing. The poor sod, that’s no age. Life’s a bitch, but if it wasn’t for that life he wouldn’t have been able to make such an impression on those who knew him. RIP YJB

    S25/26 | Official Match Thread | Swansea City 3 Nottingham Forest 2 | Att: 11,354 | The Carabao Cup 3rd Round

Good post. Predictable is the word I’d use to describe us. Forest’s movement was much better. They were running triangles around us at will. And easily finding space between our lines. But that’s what money buys. I thought we were brave (stupid?) playing with only one sitting DM. Most teams...

Yalcouye is a lovely footballer, if a bit light weight still. I can’t get over how good Galbraith is and why nobody else had snapped him up. He reminds me a bit of Gower in his peak couple of seasons under Brendan. He creates space and time from nowhere.

Flashbacks to the Llorente smash and grab against Palace, the Forest play off semi. I know we’ve had some great Cardiff games since relegation, but it’s been a long time since we had that sort of night.

    S25/26 | Official Match Thread | Swansea City 3 Nottingham Forest 2 | Att: 11,354 | The Carabao Cup 3rd Round

I must admit, I was doubting my sanity at half time. It was a weird atmosphere too. I sat in the West for a change and there were huge gaps between fans all around the south end of the West, SW corner and South stands. It made for a very quiet game for the most part, although the NE corner did...
