Nice. Locorotondo is another place I enjoyed, albeit North of Lecce. My family are from a village/town called Carovigno. Not a lot there but a nice sleepy square. Ostuni is close, which is another nice place.

My personal favourite is Otranto. Basically a town within a fortress on the coast. Really cool place with plenty of restaurants etc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otranto About 30-40 mins South of Lecce.
