    Martin. Yes or No?

His misses, his hairdresser and the head of the vegan society.

    Martin. Yes or No?

Martin would have to absolutely piss the league, and I mean 75%+ win percentage, for me to even begin stomaching his football-by-Excel. We all know that isn't going to happen.

    Martin. Yes or No?

Learned from his mistakes. :ROFLMAO: I know others have already said, but have you seen his Soton and Rangers sides? Absolutely stubbornly stuck to his foot-bore-ll principles. The only time he had some success with us was when he dumped them.

    Martin - please god, NO!!

    Here you go:

    Martin - please god, NO!!

I can see his smug face saying 'unfinished business' in the press conference already.

    Martin - please god, NO!!

I don't think it'll happen, but if it does (and I'm not usually one for hyperbole), my heart will sink in the same way it would after a relegation. It was a huge relief when he left - and the thought of having to endure his suicide tappy PowerPoint football for one game let alone a season ahead...

My only prayer is that IF Martin was appointed, which I don't think he will be, he is given a rolling contract and not a 3+ year deal.

I rarely log in to X/Twatter these days, but people always say that the Russ supporters are on there - I genuinely haven't seen/heard anyone being positive about him anywhere else, so it does bemuse me a bit when I hear that he has fans here.

Russ is a non-starter. People would literally be calling for him to be removed before his first match. I don't think our board is that stupid (maybe I'm giving them too much credit). The Rangers fiasco was so bad that I can't see anyone touching him at Championship level or above for a long...

Yep, steady the ship etc. while we look for a replacement. If he does well we can sign him for next year.

The only ‘auto’ Russ would be challenging me with if he returned is autocide.

    Martin - please god, NO!!

Part of me wants Martin to happen because the meltdown here would (rightly) be unreal. :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, don’t get me wrong, Brentford deserved to go up that season…but from the first minute or two it was apparent that we were set up as if we were playing Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, hoping to scrape a win on penalties.

Under extreme pressure in the circumstances, crowd on edge of their seats in panic, hits it with composure when also being closed down heavily by opposition players. He placed that perfectly from that distance and angle. Plenty of players would have missed that.

He didn’t do bad, but still had a very good squad. Especially Mr Ayew. I’ll never get over how easily we rolled over in that playoff final.

I know this won’t happen but can I officially put out there that I will have a white wee wee if Brendan comes home.

I think this post from Mad_Mike on the other forum sums up the situation and my feelings perfectly: Genuine guy. Did a good job as interim manager. X2 Promoted above his competence. Thanks for everything Alan.

I think we should have done better than 10th that year. Didn't trouble the playoffs. We had some very skillful and pacey players which helped the entertainment factor. It would have been interesting if he'd stayed on with us the year after, mind.

You know what we're like. :ROFLMAO: We'll come back after the International break, talks will have 'taken place' with people and fallen through, we'll put the kit man in charge for 3 games and then approach a League Two assistant manager. It's The Swansea Way.

Not that I don't think that Potter is a decent coach, but I take his season with us with a pinch of salt - we had a very decent squad for this level at the time.
