It is not 7 million. It would only reach that should we get promoted, he have X amount of goals and X amount of appearances for us and Ireland etc. It is apparently around 3 million up front according to some fairly reliable people.

I would GUESS that this is a power move to force their board to sign Dolberg. They have been linked with him recently and there has apparently been tension between BR and the board regarding signings recently. Still think both will be wrapped up in next day or so.
