• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

They didn't get the replacement for Idah?
Talks of Iheanacho on a free after his contract was terminated, but the bloke scored 1 in 15 for M'boro last year and 5 in 23 for a title winning Leicester team in 23/24. Not exactly lit the world alight for years.

Can someone clear this up as it appears he joined RC Strasbourg for 7.5 million at the end of July, but has now rejoined Chelsea to get loaned instantly out to us?

This stinks of some sort of FFP work around for them.

If we get Benson now we will have two excellent players for every position as long as (a) we play a single striker and (b) we draw a line under Fisher’s past howlers and give him a second chance (I’m happy to do that). Appreciate that others have pointed this out previously, but my question is when was the last time we could say that? Last season in the EPL?

(And yes, I do appreciate that not all of these players may turn out to be as great as we hope, but for now can we assume they are until proven otherwise?)

Too often when a player has a bad time at a club, it's due to the manager not utilizing that player to their abilities, not necessarily the player at fault.

Under Alan Sheehan I'm seeing someone who will give players a fair shake and explore their uses... It's early doors yet, sure, but I've not been this optimistic about the team since the Laudrup era. COYS!

It appears it was originally on the Burnley site but got taken down. Was the medical a problem I wonder?
