• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I thought people wanted to be entertained rather than win games?

Oh you’ve pulled your tongue out of Cooper’s crack then. Yes, of course, that’s exactly what I said wasn’t it. You are ridiculous and very tiresome.
what a nice response let's hope Russy gets it right on Sunday

To me going into the first derby of the season at home means you must not lose, quite simply the last thing I would want is going to their dump in April having to get a result to avoid losing the first double in history.
Saying that anything but a win for us means we’ve won 2 out of 12 games and regardless of what anyone says that would be an utterly dreadful start to the season.
2-0 to us.

I think the international break arrived at the right time for Cardiff. If you think our form has been bad they have scored one and conceded 12 in the last five games.

If we score early here I can see them buckling under the pressure and low confidence that a run of form like that brings.

Absolutely. There should be no excuses from Rusty Mart over this one.
He’s had two weeks to work with the squad minus a couple.

As a side note ( and as Daran has mentioned) lose this its 2 wins in 12 , then Russell will be under enormous pressure. This is by no way a freebie for him. No bullshit excuses after.

Both managers will be under scrutiny if a loss occurs.
So a draw is likely I'd say.......but obviously I'm hoping for 12 nil to us 🦢⚽🤞👍

A heavy loss here and I think Mick is gone

I'm fully behind him and got 100% confidence in what he is doing here, but lose at home to Cardiff and as you say, have two wins in twelve, it's inevitable he will be under big pressure.

Football's a brutal business.

I'm weirdly confident for this one. 2 or 3 nil perhaps. The only pass Ceeerdifff can complete is a covid one. Mr Martin was reminded of the importance several times last night, and embraces the challenge I think. No fear please Swans. Are any nearby licensed establishments open for brekkies etc. anyone?
