First home league game with big crowd for almost 18 months. No promotion so no plastics in place. Hope its rocking tonight, despite my age am really excited to get back, and tbh....hoping for the best result wise, but the occasion is slightly more important for me.
Get behind em tonight ladies n gents. Start of a new dawn n all that.

Have to agree looking forward to first game since WBA last year. Just hope I come home tonight thinking I enjoyed that. Even if we don't win.

Don't fancy us getting a result today but hopefully we will see more improvement in general play

We could easily lose the first three, although I fancy us against Stoke and I think tonight will be a draw. If we lose to the Wurzels and have lost the others too, that really wouldn't be amusing, whatever our 'offensive organisation'.

I'll enjoy it afterwards if we win, whatever we serve up, but is it really too much to ask to enjoy both?

That play off Cooperwang shite burned my eyes out, and we still surrendered. No merit in that and any change must surely be an improvement (thank you Peter Hammill).

Wow line up a little worrying. Hope I'll eat my words

Benda
Lati - Cabango - Bidwell - Cooper - Manning
Grimes - Downes - Paterson
Lowe - Cullen

Hmm Bidwell at centre back because of injuries to Naughton and Bennett. I feel that Piroe is a little unfortunate to miss out but it might be a case of managing fitness early in the season

Cullen needs to impress today, very lucky to be starting.

Cullen FFS, Whittaker offers so much more

I'd have used Whittaker and Piroe ahead but we shall see. Naughton and Bennett have knocks.

Brewster up front with Sharp and McGoldrick...
