Apart from the total meltdown in minute 1 from such a sloppy play by Paterson (that’s life), we’ve been ok and the match has gone how I thought. They are just a Cooperesque bunch of shapers but big and strong with it. If only we had pace out left and in the middle they would be shitting it. We have to stop being obvious. They put three men on the short corner and we still do it. I suppose when you see the awful deliveries into the centre From grimes straight to their pillars, it’s understandable. Some of those offsides were very tight, but I think we can score that way. The question is can we create anything clear cut and not get caught cold again.

We are playing facing our own goal too much because they are flooding the space and putting on good pressure so we can't turn and move the ball.

I'd take off Smith and play two up front to force them to leave more players back which should free up space in ghe middle
