This’ll get your juices flowing.

There’s always a huge kerfuffle when the death penalty (or my trawler) is mentioned on here so who agrees with some kind of Saudi Arabian punishment?

A few weeks ago Hashem Abedi, one of the men responsible for the Manchester Arena bombing injured three prison officers when he threw hot cooking oil over them and used home made weapons to stab them

On Thursday the Southport murderer Axel Rudakubana injured a prison officer by throwing boiling water over him.

If it was down to me I would surgically remove their prominent hand.
Then if they didn’t quit the bullshit I’d surgically remove their other hand and leave them get on with it.

Abu Hamza could not be reached for comment.

In clear cut cases, I think I would say definitely the death penalty, but I think history has told us, that there have been a few miscarriages of justice.

Who knows, what goes through peoples minds before they commit murder, surely you would think 20 years plus in the clink would be enough to put any sane person off, committing such a dastardly deed? But obviously not, looking at the way lives are taken needlessly these days.

The Guildford four, the Maguire seven, the Birmingham six and the Cardiff five.

22 people convicted of murder and sentenced to life who would have been murdered by the state in times gone bye.

And that's just part of it. Some people would say collateral damage!

Would it really be a deterrent these days,? I think the majority of the problem is the way prisoners are treated, Prison should be Prison, not a chance to meet up with your other buddies, smoke spice, watch tv and so on. 23 hours solitary, and that's it. Build more prisons if need be.
