25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Hull 2 Swansea 1 | Att: 21,912 | 24/01/26 | The EFL Championship | The MKM Stadium

It can be immensely frustrating being a Swans fan at times. We were far and away the best side on the pitch but committed suicide with Ben's headfart and two misses from Vip, one so embarrassing it defied belief.

Had them absolutely on the ropes, got a goal back, immediately took our foot off the gas. Well, who would have thought?

Didn't expect much but after that 90mins you just have to take it where we are as a team.
We are improving and the clear needs are becoming clearer.

We need a RB and some more quality/composure in the final 3rd.

Cabango, what was he thinking!?

Absolutely pissed on them second half; totally outclassed them, but of course it takes us 10 opportunities to even get a sniff of a goal. It is so frustrating. Losing to gash teams week after week when the win would be comfortable if we could be average in both boxes. Annoyed.

Cabango will know he screwed up that game and gifted them that
And they got some confidence after that. No point throwing him under the bus. Learn from it and try not to do the superman pose again Ben 💪💪💪😜

Whatever, for me a good performance away at the league’s form team. Absolutely no way we should be taking nothing from this. We lost momentum when Eom went off, he’s a ball carrier, gets us forward in shape. Cullen, bar the goal, has been a total waste of space. Vip has hopefully put a few trackers off his scent.
So much to build on, if we can transform these ultra narrow away defeats into draws and wins over the course of the next 8-10 months we’ll have a good tilt at it next season. Got to replace the weak links.

So frustrating… easily the better side today.

You’d have put your house Vipotnik scoring both his big chances in the first half.

We had enough chances to win that game twice.

The positive tho is that we’re creating plenty of good chances every game now… we’re exciting to watch again and I feel we could beat anyone.

But as someone said earlier… I’m getting sick of being the better side and losing. I’m sure that will change tho (hopefully starting on Tuesday)

The new lad looked decent too.

If you’re going to lose that’s as good as it gets.
Hull chased shadows for most of that game and were beyond lucky to win it.
First time we actually looked like a football team and not a load of headless chickens, more of the same please.

Absolutely incredible that we've lost this game. Thanks cabango you useless prick. Should never be a captain ffs and arguably shouldn't be starting
We didn’t lose the game because of Cabango.

We lost the game because we can’t score.

If we had better players/decision making we'd have won that game easily.

We missed two sitters, gave away a brainless penalty and I lost count of the times we got in behind the full back and failed to pick out a player.

These types of performances bring real hope that next season we could do something special (where have I heard that before?).
