Just a point, and I'm going to be a touch anal here: people talk about what might have been if Vipotnik had taken his chance/s AND Cabango hadn't given that penalty away, we would have been 2-0 up. Now here's the rub. If the first thing never happens, then the 2nd and 3rd phases almost certainly never occur. Think about it, change the pen, Cabango doesn't have his moment of madness, then every single thing that happens afterwards is totally different. We might have won 4-2, or we might have lost 5-0. Everything that happens depends on what happens before it. If a player shoots and scores the rest of the game is different to what would happen if he misses, or the keeper saves the shot. Change any moment in a game and the thereafter changes, in total.
Who was it who said “if my granny had balls”?

If my mother had a pair of balls she'd be my uncle.

I'll take a decent performance, away, against a more than decent side in our position.

Mid table, I'll take it come end of May.

At some point someone at the club will surely realise we are completely lacking in creative quality from wide (Tymon apart and sometimes Eom) and through the centre.

It’s been apparent all season and nothing seems to change.

We can’t go the rest of this season without another forward and a right back. Calls into question again why we’ve signed Ward if he doesn’t come on today.
Time to stop the Galbraith experiment. We’re better in midfield with him at right back but for the last half a dozen games he’s been really poor at right back. So we have to try something different in midfield if he’s going to play.

And we currently have no centre back options.

Have to be looking at recalling Lissah surely.
For a team lacking in creative quality we sure create a lot of chances.

The swansea way........our own worst enemies....Prem players , yop finishers , top defenders.....let it sink in !

I think both can be true.

We were not showing enough under Sheehan and we have seen a real improvement in our chance creation and lots to be encouraged about under Matos.

But I would not say our creation is coming from our wide attacking players or midfield - Tymon has been the difference maker and responsible for most of our good chances. A relief as he was not getting high enough up the pitch in the early months of the season despite clearly being our best player.

Hopefully we sign a player who can help out from the right side in the run in.

Both Vipotniks chances came from our left and goal assisted from a Tymon corner.
Our right side created very little and we certainly need to balance that out plus we create very little centrally.

Key might be an option on the RW as previously stated by one or 2 other posters.

Agree 100%. We’re getting better and that’s down to Matos. Love his subs and we fight for the ball if it’s lost. Onwards and upwards.

What gives you the impression Josh key could be an option for us on the right wing?

And if Vip didn't fk up it's 2 - 2
Yes he missed a couple of chances he’d normally put away in his sleep. But as he’s the top scorer in the league and has been fantastic this season I think he deserves a little bit of slack. Compared with how reckless and idiotic Cabangos handball was I find it difficult to give Vipotnik a hard time.

Yeah and if Vipotnik didn’t miss two absolute sitters it would have been 3-2 as well. One of which was up there with anything I’ve ever seen.

Some players get absolute pelters and some get away with murder.

Cabango has had a good season so far. He makes one error which was poor but these things happen.
He's made more than one error... Soft back passes and terrible passes from the back which were only saved from being worse due to vigoroux and other players who were more switched on.
