What are we really expecting from Matos....

You seemed to have wound yourself up.
Not even slightly.

There is absolutely nothing about football that in any way winds me up any longer. It used to when I was a lot younger, but these days? Nope. It’s a pleasant diversion from stuff that is important.

Glad to hear it.

We have quite a young team and if Matos has the ability to develop and coach young players, as has been stated, we could be in for a good few years.

Eom, Vipotnik, Widdell, Stamenić and Innoussa are all just 23, Ronald, Galbraith and Idah are just 24. Add some of our youth players who are out on loan and playing well, the future could be bright.

At the moment my cup is half full.
We all hope so.

Of course you can.

The only argument is with extrapolating it for a full season where we play everyone twice.

I thought it was a ridiculously risky appointment. I still do.

If we get promoted with him it won’t change that. It’s like someone gambling everything on red. It’s stupid whether red comes up or not.

I like him so far though. That’s not the same thing.
Surely it's not comparable to gambling everything on red though?

They met with him several times, saw and understood his philosphy, he did his badges with FAW so had due dilligence done there and with several other people in the game including Modric. It's becoming fashionable to not give the club credit for their good decisions and that's a shame.
