Hopeless Barnsley and Reading up next…

We’ll be a lot closer than people expected.

Said in the week, you finish on 75 points and yer almost certain to reach the playoffs. Win every game and we get 75 points. Whilst there's a glimmer, we gotta go for it.

Don't do it to yourselves. We always get to excited.

We're a midtable side, not a Top 6 side. We might win a few but then we draw and lose a few. Rinse repeat.

Remember Reading away

Look, it's highly unlikely, but it's great to go into the last 6 with a minor sniff.
Just imagine having last game v Qpr with the winner going in the playoffs. We are 50/1 to make em, nobody saw a 4 zip last week so fck it.....I'm gonna dream bit.

Cheer up Roger.
19 points from 27.
3 wins on the bounce.
One goal conceded ( and that was a rush of blood to the head by Fisher )

I think if we win our remaining six games we'll get play-offs.

The likelihood of that happening is very slim, but it's still there and I would back us to beat Barnsley to take us that bit closer.

I think we'll get 13 points from 18, with the defeat coming against Forest away. It won't be enough for top six, but it'll put us on a solid platform for next season.

Really? I thought we were only saved from relegation because of points deductions, and nailed on to go down next year?

Roger makes himself (it’s always a him) look a plum. Rinse, repeat.

*that said, on this occasion he is correct we won’t make it, but so is the person who said it’s much closer than expected. Anyways, 4-0 away; 7-0 aggregate and a spectacular first doube, plus 4 wins in 5. Russell Martin redux. Lap it up Rog.

If, and it's a big IF, we beat Barnsley that will be 4 games in a row, when was the last time that we did that?

Winning 9 games in a row is (umm) ambitious, especially as we'll have the Manager of the Month curse to contend with.

One game at a time, eh?

I agree, we'll always have that doube.

The biggest hurdles we would have to overcome are Forest away and Bournemouth at home. Forest right now have real momentum and Bournemouth have seemingly bought every good player they could google.

Two games that we should realistically expect 3 points from (Barnsley H, Reading A).
Two games that will be what I would call even odds (QPR H, Middlesbrough H)
Two very hard games (Forest A, Bournemouth H)

Not the worst of run ins.
Doable? Yes.
Likely? No.
In for the ride? Absolutely

I reckon we’ll get 13 from 18 and put us just outside the play offs by around 4pts… and we’ll end the season thinking of what if…

There’s so many games, Reading at home really stands out 😂, where we have really thrown points away.

It’s not impossible but we’re going to have to win at least 5 of the 6, which is still really unlikely even with our recent improvement. Luton might be a better target than Sheffield Utd looking at the remaining fixtures.

Think we’ll probably end up around 10th which will be a pretty decent season, especially since we were 18th not that long ago.
