Afternoon Dining Establishments

Anyway, went to Gower Inn. The menu was a bit rubbish as it was mostly still festive specials (I’m a very fussy eater). Went for the ham, egg and chips, which consisted of half the pig I think. Couldn’t fault the grub, very nice. However, and I don’t know who was more shocked, me or the waitress when I asked for brown sauce. She looked at me as if I asked to take a shit on one of the tables! She said nobody has ever asked for it before 🤣 that did spoil it a bit me.

I hope they had HP sauce, if they didn't I'd refuse to pay :ROFLMAO:

Glad you enjoy mate, there's a lovely dog trail if your interested from the Gower Inn, park in the car park and it takes you through the woods and you eventually pop out by Iliston Church, it's about an hours round trip back to the Gower Inn for a couple of pints. It's an ideal walk on a hot summer day because most is shaded by the trees and there is a lovely stream that runs all the way alongside the route for dogo to run in and out of...

A fried egg without brown sauce isn’t even a thing.

My dog would chew his way out of the car if he had to travel that far 🤣🤣 there were quite a dogs in the place as it happens, that’s probably why then.

Either that or the walk down to Three Cliffs is just a short distance down the road at Shepherds 👍

They didn’t have any brown sauce at all. Had to put mustard on my ham and dip the chips in the egg yolk 🙄
Take your own next time don't take any chances, keep it in the glove compartment and jobs a goodun :ROFLMAO:
