It's great if used correctly and you don't become over reliant on it.All jokes aside, though, is AI a good thing? Can it be taken too seriously? I ask because someone I know had something wrong with his eye; it looked bloodshot. I took a picture and ran it through AI. A couple of results indicated a burst blood vessel, while many more indicated a tumor behind the eye. Worrying for no reason, or perhaps helpful in potentially saving someone's life?
It was a burst blood vessel, thankfully.![]()

Whether we like it or not AI is going nowhere and will gather pace rapidly over the next 18 months and beyond. It will undoubtedly save lifes and hopefully not be used to take many more away going forward. It's great if used correctly and you don't become over reliant on it.
From a work perspective it's boosted my productivity massively. In the past I've stared at my laptop screen literally for hours when trying to get the ball rolling with certain projects. These days I feed my ideas, thoughts in to ChaGPT and boom, off I go.
Gamma is another good tool when it comes to creating presentations etc.
Just switched to an EV and learnt everything I needed to know again using ChaGPT instead of google.
What EV did you go for? It's great if used correctly and you don't become over reliant on it.

I was thinking the same thing after my reply to your first post.Whether we like it or not AI is going nowhere and will gather pace rapidly over the next 18 months and beyond. It will undoubtedly save lifes and hopefully not be used to take many more away going forward.
Scary in a way.

I went for a Tesla in the end. Don't judge meWhat EV did you go for?
It definitely take away all the tedious things out of my day.I was listening to a debate on AI not so long ago, a fella said wouldn't it cost jobs, you know put folk out of work. But the counter argument was that it would just make us do things differently, and in some cases make jobs, and make us more efficient by giving AI the tedious stuff. Interesting stuff, its going to explode in the next few years. My only hope is that is used for good and not bad, as is mans want. No I'm not a robot.![]()
I came close to ordering one of those, they are superb. But I couldn’t get over my dislike for Musk, so sacked it off.I went for a Tesla in the end. Don't judge me
