As caretaker.. should get the job.. and somehow convince O'Brien to stay

Give him the job before the Millwall game

The odds of a playoff place are slim but they are there and I can't think of a better way to fire a rocket under our players than to hear that the coach they have played out of their skins for these past two months has earned himself a permanent deal.
Unless they decide that task accomplished and head for the beach.

The glass is at least three quarters full right now
Would rather believe the players would go for it both barrels if even the slimmest chance is still there

Well that's what a few posters on here said, they reckoned Williams was getting as much out of them as was possible. Load of bollocks that turned out to be.
I did. And I still maintain that to a great extent,

The actual real difference is O’Brien over Grimes. It has completely changed the team. It’s the biggest upgrade since I can’t remember when. Changed the players around him as well as they have always got an out.

And once you get a result, heads lift and it makes a huge difference.

I do think though that the last couple of weeks have seen a massive improvement in Eom in particular, and Ronald to a lesser extent. Whether that’s the new coaching staff who knows. The team certainly seem fitter.

None of that detracts from Sheehan who’s doing a sterling job.

A lot of it Mon was. Grimes in particular, who we both have said for ages was a huge problem for us. The change in midfield has been astonishing and it’s due to O’Brien.
Grimes going has helped massively. Eom, Franco and VP all improving. Key and Tymon (Other than Today with the goal) has not been so exposed and playing to their strengths. For me it's coaching. Williams over complicated th situation and left gaps everywhere in the team.

His fitness is off the scale. He was still sprinting to close down their keeper and stop him getting in a good clearance in the 94th minute.

Signing O'Brien on a permanent basis for next season would be a massive statement of intent; but if it is true that Grimes was on £21,000 a week and we received £4 million from Coventry for him, the extra outlay is a no-brainer.

A poor workman blames his tool 😉

We’ve had the poorest managers in yonks- Martin and his Willy had no idea how to handle their tools, being so fixated with their self indulgent selfish CV-embellishing mission, fired up on Viagra.

We then became flaccid, incapable of a rise, dysfunctional and embarrassingly inept.

Sheehan and his Quorum have ditched the Viagra, gone back to basics to get the very best rise from our hugely talented assets.

We now need a proper decent Tier1-potential young gun to thrust us to the Next Level, leveraging our new Owners ambition, funds and best-in-class recruitment apparatus…..

Exciting times… at the .Com 😉

Would the Swedish manager bring in his own players if he was appointed which could be better than what we have now.

Would Darling or LOB leave if Sheehan doesn't get the gig

Would they go anyway?

Sheehan wouldn't necessarily be a success elsewhere

Use money from Leeds promotional money from Piroe, for Darling and O Brian. But I don't think either will stay. For me, if anything positive comes from this it's shown the type of player we need. Even if we get someone else in.
