I cant be bothered with this conversation.

My posts on this thread from April are literally coming to pass.

Those that were all for Sheehan who are now MOANING are getting all defensive and coming up with he “deserved” it to cover for what looks like …. Yes a costly error.

If you get the management decision wrong you get the whole squad complexion wrong as they are clearly investing in their own team.

So the cost to making a managerial mistake are far higher than the extra cost to employing someone with a proven track record.

I used an important word “invest” too the replies are referring to a cost which implies something else.

Get the management right and you’re looking at promotion within a year or two which pays back tenfold with higher gate receipts, television revenue etc etc

Why is not advocating for Sheehan and suggesting maybe we could been a bit more ambitious a strange position to take?

Last summer we actually had some resources to invest in players. To squander that is a massive disappointment.

But once again I return to what I said. I’m not a Sheehan out. I’m a Sheehan time person. I didn’t want him but I don’t want him sacked now.
It's very rare that a manager will get the final say in what players are signed unless you an established manager with a period of success at your club. The owners have an identity and will employee managers who can work with the squad already in place.

Bold statement to say all those who wanted Sheehan now want him gone. In fairness there's only a small minority who want him out.

No one's trying to "cover" for anything. We're 13th in October. It's not a "costly error". We're not brilliant, we're not horrifically crap. We're doing ok.

For someone who doesn't want him sacked mind, you don't half sound like you want him gone.

He wants him to stay, didn't want him here in the first place.

I think you’ll find there’s a lot who are there or very close.

No I’ve literally said he should get to end of the season and I’ll stick to that unless things get disastrous.

Once again he is operating on a much higher intellectual level than the rest of us. We just aren't worthy of understanding his cognitive dissonance.

Oh here we go..

Dare I say there’s no cognitive dissonance going on but I suppose it sounded good.

Just debating with you chap don’t get all insecure about it. If I thought like that why would I even debate with you.

I assume you copied in the stalker. He’s still there is he bless him.

You've also literally said he's a costly mistake and should never have been given the job.

So let's clear this up - you think he shouldn't be there, is a costly mistake, but you also want him to stay. All at the same time.

By your own logic, if we'd spent a lot of money on an expensive manager who was proving value for money, you'd like him to be sacked.

I said “looking like” I didn’t say is.

I’m one of these old fashioned twats who believes in giving managers time. I’m a swans fan I simply want us to do well like you do.

I’m always against the panicking types. I’ve never really shifted from what I believe to be the right way forward.

It's like debating with Indecisive Dave off of The Fast Show.

When you say indecisive what you mean is I’m not taking an absolute position.

But then you’re one of those “Tory scum” types aren’t you. Someone who can’t see anything beyond a black & white position.

There’s literally nothing I’ve said that is indecisive.

Do I think Sheehan should have got the job? No

Do I think Sheehan should be sacked?
No

Do I think Sheehan should be given till end of season?
Yes

Yes very indecisive. Literally what I’ve been saying since Sheehan got the job and was doing well.

You couldn’t get more decisive.

Make your mind up.

Over an hour ago you stated you couldn't be bothered with this conversation. 🤭
