• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Chianti Vintage 2019 DOCG £4.88, it is nectar! Can't believe the price!!!

Plus I bought a 4 pack of "Ashfields" chicken burgers for £2.29.
They have 16g of protein per burger, 6g of carbs, 7.3g of fat of which only 1.3g is saturated.

A wonderful store....anyone tried their 1887 lager?

It must be a rip off off kronenburg 1664 which is very pleasant.

Also tried a bottle of King Cobra earlier, WOW!!!

Dicky - yes, the 1887 is very good. My wife is partial to the pink champagne they sell (about £16 for 75cl) and I must say that I could happily drink it all day.

I tend to buy Guinness in Aldi plus a Ribena for a Guinness n’ Black.

The high protein granola is nice too.

I will say, their meat isn't all that , the bacon and gammon they sell is very fatty. Prefer Iceland for bacon, and Asda for gammon.. Most products there are good though, but I personally feel they let themselves down with the meat selection.

Good wine this, Dicky. Thanks for the heads up. A second bottle beckons this evening.
