I totally agree with the thin skinned commentI don’t think it’s necessary for people to use their real identity when posting online. That can be as dangerous as unfettered anonymity. But before opening any kind of account someone should have to definitively prove their identity and whichever website it is should hold that information securely and release it to the appropriate authorities in the appropriate circumstances. At the moment there are too may thin skinned fools attempting to dox people for some perceived internet slight. These people often get it wrong and that can lead to real damage too.
