• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I cannot stop laughing at this image. 7,000 people sat in a stand waiting for their chance to shout at Coleman through a microphone; the board sat on the centre spot, absolutely cacking it

Fair play to them for opening it up, I cannot think of anywhere I'd rather not be than in Andy Coleman's shoes

Fair play to them opening up the stand and letting those attend who want to attend.

It should be entertaining 😜

Guess having in the stands means they can make get quick get away if it gets a bit heated. Plus it'll be freezing so put some people off.
Or suddenly the microphone will stop working

Not sure how that'll work with someone going around with microphones and our PA system?
I imagine this would be the case. Maybe they realised having people so close risks a mic being thrown at them inside. With them on the pitch. There is multiple escape roots 🤭🤭🤭😂😂😂

Shit. You got there before me with that joke lol
👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣

I think having it like this benefits them, it allows them to keep a bigger distance between them and fans.

It would have been better in the usual place so the anger and disapproval in fans voices can be picked up better. Being out in the open is going to quiet the environment.

It's a diversion tactic for definite. Will make it feel far less like a pressure cooker

I think what they are going to do is let the fans sit out in the cold and have Coleman & Williams streamed onto the big screens from inside the boardroom.

I think we should see who can come up with the most bizarre scenario of how this is going to play out.
