• We have today (22nd April) confirmed the closure of JackArmy.net on 31st May. Our reasons are varied but after a twenty-five year stint at the heart of the online Swansea City community, the time is right for us to bow out.

Out:.....................................In:
Grimes...............................O'Brien
Abdulai..............................Delcroix
Abbey.................................Widell (loaned back to club)

Looking at it objectively speaking we have replaced two CDMs and one centre half with a CDM and a centre half plus in the summer an attacking midfielder.

The bigger picture though is that come the summer we are still expecting to lose Darling and will then have to plug gaps in central defence, at least one if not two holding midfielders and try to shift numerous deadwood fringe players out of the squad.

The question was based on the changes of Dacroix and O'brien over the departure of Grimes and Abdulai considering the views of our ex-skip by some
Good point.

Back on topic, and to answer Ringy's question - we'll only know when we see whether LO'B can deliver to Matty's exalted levels.

The expectation is massive isn't it - let's see if Premier League player LOB, paid twice as much as Matty can deliver twice the level of performance.

LOB has been a target for our Club for quite some time. Him playing alongside MAtty would have been the dream team.

Obviously weaker but I think we’re hurtling to League One and there is intent about it. The club is imploding and the owners may feel that a division below may be easier to live within our means, not that they’ll ever say it, but prepare for it.

Simple answer is we are much, much weaker.

Dacroix and Abduali don't play in the same position.

The centre of the pitch was already weak,

So long as Williams joins the "out" column then I see no reason we won't still be a Championship side in the summer
