It was suggested there would be one final twist in the tale and that appears to have come today with news that Celtic are closing in on MK Dons highly rated midfielder Matt O’Riley who looks set to move North of the border for the reported £1.5m fee that was suggested a few days back. […]

Shame he ain’t coming here, but did we really need him with Grimes and Downes similar players? All out for Darling now probably.

McAtee still of interest.

Gutted about Darling, but Stu James has said he would be surprised if any permanents come through the door. Skint.

Makes you wonder what the loan fee is?

Whats the fking point of a half season loan? We don't finish above 12th this season, How does this help in any way? I thought we were building a squad so Martin can play how he wants with his players.

Is panic setting in? Is there thoughts that we could be looking at a relegation fight? It does seem a strange move for a club looking after each penny 🤔

Save the money for the summer, but we’re only 14pts off the play offs with 3 games in hand don’t give up yet… Villa done it when they were mid table end of February

The consensus appears to be we are skint (or that's what Stu James says!)

Even if we weren't skint this signing makes absolutely zero sense. I've been told a hundred times Martin needs two windows to assemble a squad. This is window one. We are signing loan players. What is going on?

What other loan players have we signed this window so far?

Christie but he’ll probably be here permanently in the summer anyway.

One loan player is one too many. It doesnt develop the squad.

Bringing players in on loan made sense whilst we were contending for promotion. I've read time and again this season will be a success if we stay up and begin assembling a squad of players that Martin wants to work with. Clock is ticking.

It's bugging me massively that we are being declared 'skint' by all and sundry when clubs worse off than us just seem happy to increase debt and we appear to be operating in a sensible and sustainable manner.

Yeah I’m not buying in to that either. Derby are skint….Reading are skint.
