Anyone here watch any of the u23s?

The lad who was in first team squad yesterday, what’s he like? Centre Half according to transfermrkt.

Nothing stands out in my memory from the recent u23 games I've watched but don't take that as a final verdict yet.

I'd never heard of him until yesterday.

Looked him up and it looks like he was part of that batch of premier league u23 released players we signed like Mcfayden, Veevers, the keeper from Everton etc

Seen him in a few under 23 games. Tall and agile holding mid or CAM. Very comfortable on the ball and finds space. One of those types that always looks like he has time on the ball,so may naturally make the step up when playing in the next level.

I'm sure Jasper from the other site who takes big interest in the academy etc, said they are both still here, at what age I can't remember though, 16's comes to mind.
