I think we can put this one too bed after last night, why the fuck didn't he just pick up that ball. We'll never see him in a Swansea shirt again unless it's walking around the quadrant. 😂

You can’t pick up a pass back?

I don’t really see him at fault at all for that one… fisher has done far worse

He can't pick it up, but it's still an easy out.

I still think there's a good keeper in there. He's just trying too hard to be something different. We don't need a ball playing keeper, we're not Man City. We need a keeper who does proper keeper things. That was still a howler last night mind, even on those terms, but a normal keeper wouldn't be coping with insane back passes all game.

He could of stopped it with his foot then picked it up surely but yeah he should of done much better with the kick, should of also saved that penalty.

I'm with you and if we are going to apportion blame then I'd go like this:

1. Buck stops with Martin for creating an ethos where this type of play is acceptable
2. Then Wood for not seeing the man and / or hoofing it off the park
3. Finally Benda for not going ultra safe, he should have considered that they have a man there and again the hoof sideways would have been safer (but also gone against the Martin style - see point 1).

Yep… he punts it straight out of play and then that also ensures he never plays for RM again

Hmm, a lose - lose scenario unfortunately. And we lost.

Both 'keepers are playing to orders......but fucking up with costly errors.
Benda looks as fit as a fiddle and is better than Fisher, just hope he reads games better.

Don't get blaming individuals who play to instructions. But then again the Messiah will not accept any.

Said it before and will say it again. None of the keepers we have on our books are good enough if we are looking to seriously mount a promotion challenge, though on evidence so far we are a million miles off that. And yes , though the playing style didn't help him Benda was definitely at fault for their first shambolic goal last night.

We’re not mounting a promotion challenge tho… it’s a relegation survival bid.

I think it's gonna be another 40 years before we see the premiership again so it's safe to forget that. Staying up is our battle.
