Hi everyone, James' (Blazes) sister here. I dont know where to begin, as a family we are devastated but totally blown away reading all these lovely comments and little stories about James. Once a jack, always a jack
Condolences to you and all your family. ❤️

Talking of stories a few years ago when he absolutely refused to miss a game home or away we were playing Sheffield United away and the weather forecast was giving a large flurry of snow on Friday night for South West Wales meaning that if the forecast was correct James would have struggled to drive to Sheffield on Saturday morning for the game so he drove up on Friday teatime.
He got as far as the motorway services in South Yorkshire on the M1,went in for a slash, grabbed something to eat and drink, went back to the car and had a kip for a few hours.
A week or so later he received a letter,£50 fine for spending too long in the services car park. 😂😂😂

I remember this, he was furious. I told him that he could've frozen to death. Was this the time that a woman knocked on the window and offered him her services?

He could be a knob mind. 🤣
I spoke to him last year and I was in Porthcawl,I paused for a second and then I said to him that four young lads in school uniform had just walked past me and one of them said “Santa’s looking old.”
Half hour later the knob texts me this. 😂😂😂

Blooming heck - just seen this. What awful news.

Didn’t meet Blaze in person but have conversed on here many times.

May he rest in peace.

Heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and everyone who loved him. Reading this thread, there were obviously many who did.

Sincere condolences. I met your brother many times on the road at away games. Such a lovely man and a proper Jack.

Condolences to your whole family for your loss

Another great story was when a poster on here Costello who was a school teacher took the school mini bus home for the weekend and asked on here if anyone fancied going to the away game,James was on there with a load of other boys and the other boys had taken a load of cans.
They’re half way up the motorway and the school bus gets pulled over by the police and it’s full of beer. 😂😂😂

Costello always called him Blouse. 🤣
